At LKS Active we believe that sport has the power to shape character, build community and unlock potential both on and off the pitch. Founded by Liam Kilsby-Steele, a qualified sports coach and educator with over ten years of experience, LKS Active delivers engaging, story driven coaching that helps young people fall in love with learning through movement.
Our Story
What began as a small coaching project has grown into a community built around energy, inclusivity and development. Liam studied Sports Coaching at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where he developed a passion for how people learn, not just how they perform. Since then he has coached across schools, clubs and performance environments, bringing together a mix of field hockey, adventure sports and outdoor learning.
Through years of working in grassroots and academy settings, Liam saw the impact of positive coaching, the kind that celebrates effort, curiosity and teamwork. LKS Active was created to bring that same philosophy to life across schools, clubs and community programmes across Berkshire and beyond.
